2022-23 Kindergarten and New Student Registration Information

A message from our Attendance Secretary, Alicia Webb:
Welcome to Rivercrest Elementary! I will be helping you get pre-registered!
All NEW students must sign up for a phone conference using the link below. Please choose a date and time that works best for you.

Please review the information below and sign up for a time that I can call you and discuss your registration paperwork. I'll email you the Enrollment Data Form before our call, then you will need to email that form and all required documents to me at before our appointment.

You will need to email me copies of the following information:
• Certified Birth Certificate (not mother's copy)
• Social Security Card
• TN Immunization Certificate and Proof of Physical
• Custody or Guardianship paperwork - if needed

I will also need: TWO Proofs of Residency
• MLGW Current (NOT Bartlett Water)
• Mortgage Statement
• Lease or Rental Agreement
• Real Estate Tax Receipt
• Government Assistance Communication

All new Shared Residency applications will need to be approved by Student Services first. Check their website for more information.

Come join us for an exciting preview of kindergarten at Rivercrest Elementary. You will have an opportunity to meet our teachers and administrative staff, tour the school, and engage in fun activities.

Rivercrest Awarded $5,000 Grant

Our Rivercrest Redbirds are so thankful to be awarded a $5,000 TVA grant to enhance our STEAM program. Thank you to Tennessee STEM Innovation Network for expanding STEM opportunities for all students. #weareSTEMready

RTI2-B Model of Demonstration School

Rivercrest Elementary has been selected as an RTI2-B Model of Demonstration School-Silver Level for 2021-2022. Rivercrest Elementary has been a participant in training and technical assistance and has undergone the process of implementing a positive and proactive behavioral systems framework for all students. As an RTI2-B Silver Level school, we can now serve as a mentor to other schools across Tennessee. Congratulations to ALL of our Redbirds.

Annual Hats for the Homeless Drive

Our annual Hats for the Homeless drive has been extended to January 7th! Help us reach our goal of 500 hats by donating new knit caps for homeless charities throughout Shelby County.

RES Veterans Day Slideshow

Pink Out Day is this Friday, October 22nd. Let's turn our red into pink as we recognize those that have been affected by cancer. Join us in dressing in pink from head to toe!
