Run Run Rudolph Santa’s gotta make it to town! Rivercrest Elementary School is pleased to announce the first annual Run Run Rudolph 5K and Dasher Dash. Join us on December 13, 2014, at 9:00 am for a brand new 5K course through the neighborhood surrounding our wonderful school. The race will be a celebration of the holiday season and fun for all ages. Walkers, joggers, and runners alike are welcomed to participate in the 5K. Participation from the whole family is welcomed and encouraged! Awards will be given in all age groups, with something special for the person displaying the most holiday spirit at the event. Participants are encouraged to dress their best for the Christmas Costume Contest.
All proceeds will be donated directly to the technology fund at Rivercrest Elementary. Our goal is to install Promethean Smart Boards in our classrooms. All proceeds from this race will go toward funding this technology to help further our students’ education.
